Oral To Genital Herpes
Transferring oral to genital herpes is possible if certain strains are present, as is the same for the human papilloma virus, showing up as ASCUS on a pap smear.
Prevention is difficult since the virus is highly contagious and cannot be eliminated from the organism. Some people may have no symptoms at all. During an active outbreak, one is advised to avoid kissing and having sexual contacts to prevent the infection transmission.

Human Papilloma Virus, ASCUS
These infections are caused by HSV (HSV-1 or HSV-2) and have similar symptoms except that the lesions appear on different body parts. Facial lesions usually appear on the mouth and lips, whereas infections commonly caused by HSV-2 are characterized by lesions on the penis (in men), vagina (in women), and around the anus. Transferring oral to genital herpes is possible if certain strains are present, as is the same for the human papilloma virus, showing up as ASCUS on a pap smear.
