Genetal Herpes
Genetal herpes cannot be treated with cone biopsy, although a genital wart can be succesfully removed with such a method.
The virus is acquired during a sexual intercourse or from a pregnant mother to a newborn during a vaginal delivery. This infection is commonly seen in sexually active people with multiple partners frequently being in the risk group.

Cone Biopsy, Genital Wart
Patients with frequent recurrences are recommended to take antiviral medications. The symptoms tend to disappear within a week. In mild cases, no treatment is applied. Blisters on the vagina, penis, anus, hips, and related areas are the common signs of the infection. Genetal herpes cannot be treated with cone biopsy, although a genital wart can be succesfully removed with such a method.
