Genital Herpes Cold Sore
A genital herpes cold sore virus is not the same virus family as a penile wart or verruca wart virus.
An outbreak begins with one or several small blisters. The blisters rupture and scabs develop signaling outbreak completion. Outbreaks generally last a few days, often during a stressed immune system. Any area of broken skin or mucosa, including eyes, mouth, esophagus, anus and vagina can be infected from these blisters.

Simplex 1(HSV1) commonly infects the mouth (fever blister) and Simplex 2 (HSV2) generally infects the reproductive tract. This can be misleading because direct oral to genital organ contact can transmit either to the opposite sites. And, HSV lesions are very definitive and contagious.
